Breaking: JAMB Announces Resit and Reprinting Date for 2025 UTME

JAMB Resit 2025 UTME –  JAMB Announces Resit and Reprinting Date for 2025 UTME candidates affected by technical issues.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates affected by technical issues in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will be allowed to resit their exams.

This follows the discovery of technical glitches at some Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres, which caused low scores for many students.

According to JAMB, 157 centres out of the 887 approved CBT centres across the country experienced serious technical problems, which significantly impacted the performance of candidates who wrote their exams at those locations.

In response, the Board has decided to give all affected candidates another chance to write the exam.

JAMB Resit and Reprinting Date for 2025 UTME

JAMB Resit is starting from the 20th of May 2025.

The resit is part of JAMB’s effort to ensure fairness and uphold the integrity of the examination process.

The Board regrets the inconvenience caused to the affected candidates and assures that the re-examination will be conducted smoothly.

Affected candidates are advised to:

  • Check their email and SMS regularly for official messages from JAMB.
  • Visit the official JAMB portal or use the support link to confirm their resit status.
  • Reprint their examination slips once the updated schedule is released.

JAMB further explained that the technical issues included system failures, login disruptions, and biometric verification problems, which led to candidates either being unable to complete their exams or receiving inaccurate scores.

Parents and guardians have been urged to remain calm, as JAMB is taking steps to ensure no candidate is unfairly penalised due to technical shortcomings that were beyond their control.
