How to Retrieve Lost JAMB Email and Phone Number in the 2025/2026 academic session.

Losing access to your JAMB email or phone number can be frustrating, especially when you need to check your admission status, print your result, or reset your password.

To solve this issue, JAMB has introduced a new feature known as Profiled Email service, which makes it easy to update your email and phone number if your SIM card is lost or your email is no longer accessible.

In this blog post, I will walk you through how to retrieve or change your lost JAMB email and phone number using the new system.

What is JAMB Profiled Email Service?

JAMB Profiled Email service is a new update that allows candidates who have lost access to their registered SIM cards or emails to securely update their profile with a new email address.

This new email will then be linked to your JAMB profile and allow you to:

• Reset your JAMB password
• Receive your result via email
• Access important JAMB services like CAPS, admission status, and e-facilities
• Recover your JAMB profile

How to Retrieve Lost JAMB Email and Phone Number

1. Go to any accredited JAMB CBT centre near you and request for the Profile Email Template (TEMPL 006).
2. The requirements for the service is your JAMB Registration Number, Phone number used for registration (if available) and your Profile Code
3. A new email address (make sure this email has never been used on the JAMB portal before)
4. You’ll also need to sign the declaration/attestation section of the form, confirming that the information you’ve given is accurate and that you are the real owner of the JAMB profile.
5. After you fill out and sign the form, the CBT centre official will process your request using secured CBT Registration App.
6. They will upload the completed form into the JAMB system and submit it for verification.
7. The JAMB system will verify the new email address you provided. A verification link or code will be sent to the new email.
8. You must open your inbox and either click the link or enter the code to confirm that you own the email. If you don’t complete this step, the update won’t go through.
9. Once the email is confirmed, the system will automatically update your JAMB profile.
10. From then on, you’ll be able to log in using the new email address and enjoy full access to the following services.
