Breaking: JAMB Says There Was an Error in 2025 Released UTME Results

JAMB 2026

JAMB 2025 UTME Result Error – The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially admitted that errors occurred in the conduct and release of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results.

The Board has now acknowledged that technical glitches disrupted the exam process in several centres, affecting the performance and results of many candidates.

A senior JAMB official, who preferred not to be named, confirmed the development:

“We set all machineries in order, but regardless, there were still errors.

Over 300,000 candidates were affected in the five South East and Lagos State.

They will have a resit.”

The announcement follows a wave of complaints on social media, where parents, students, and educators voiced concerns over what has been described as a “mass failure.”

Shockingly, many high-performing students, usually top of their classes, also scored unexpectedly low, leading to calls for transparency and accountability from JAMB.

Common complaints from 2025 UTME candidates included:

  • System failures during the exam
  • Abrupt logouts from computers
  • Questionable scoring patterns
  • Delayed or inconsistent results

In response to the growing criticism, JAMB announced the formation of a special panel to investigate the conduct of the 2025 UTME.

Please I want to know. is it only those in the south east that they will review their results? What about us in the Nouth?
I also want my result to be review too.
Please do something about it. Let all the results that were affected be review please because someone don’t know how to lay the complain please.
    Thanks 🙏
